Feeling Overwhelmed? 3 Tools to Support Mental Clarity

Feeling Overwhelmed? 3 tools to support mental clarity

There are days when even the smallest thing — like a snack spilled on the floor or a skipped nap — can push us over the edge. That simmering irritation, often called “mom rage,” is real. And even if you’re not a mom, life’s mental load, stress, and over stimulation can still hit just as hard.

But here’s a truth I keep coming back to:

The greatest gift you can give others is your own happiness.
(Thank you, Abraham Hicks.)

So how do we actually protect our peace, regulate our emotions, and find moments of mental clarity — even on the busiest, messiest days?

Here are a few tools I keep coming back to — simple, doable, and effective.

A Coaching Resource That Helps You Feel Seen

One of my favorite resources is a program called The Calm Mom Playbook by my friend Cassie (@cassiemomcoach). It’s packed with practical strategies to help you respond rather than react, set boundaries, and create a calmer home — starting with yourself.

It’s not about perfection. It’s about support, perspective, and real tools that actually help. If you’re a mom in the thick of it, this is gold.

Grounding Mind-Health Habits That Actually Work

When stress builds up, I like to keep it simple. These quick practices can help re-center your mind and body:

    •    2-Minute Deep Breathing: Inhale for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 4. Repeat.
    •    Gratitude Journaling: Write down three things you’re grateful for — no matter how small.
    •    Step Outside: A short walk with no phone can do wonders for your nervous system.
    •    Put on Music You Love: Dance break, anyone?

These moments matter more than we think. They shift our nervous system, mindset, and even how we show up for the people around us.

Clean, Plant-Based Support for Mental Calm

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and Arbonne is highlighting our top wellness products that support focus, mood, and rest — all on sale right now:

    •    InnerCalm: Made with ashwagandha and B12, this helps manage occasional stress and
promotes a sense of calm.

    •    MindHealth: Formulated to support focus and cognitive performance with ingredients
like phosphatidylserine and grape seed extract.

    •    Dream Tea: A gentle, caffeine-free tea with soothing herbs like chamomile, valerian,
and lavender for more restful sleep.

You Deserve to Feel Supported — Not Just Get Through the Day

Whether you’re a mom or simply someone holding a lot, remember this: your mental wellness matters. You don’t need to hustle through burnout or survive on fumes.

Take the walk. Drink the tea. Write the gratitude list. Say yes to the support.

If you’re curious which product or practice might support you most right now, send me a message — I’d love to help.
