Prior to finding the supplements and brand I love, I was eating whatever I felt like, whatever was convenient. The program I found educated me on nutrition through hands on experience, accountability, guidance, and motivation.

I FELT better! I didn’t even know how lousy I had been feeling until I noticed the difference – read how below!

How I was introduced to nutrition supplements
In 2019 a trusted friend shared about a “30 Day’s to Healthy Living” program she had just completed, how it helped her slim down and have more energy. I was planning our wedding at the time, was already going to the gym regularly, and a nutrition plan was the missing piece to my puzzle, so I ordered the whole kit & caboodle.

What was in the nutrition supplements box
The box was filled with a month’s worth of protein powders, natural energy drinks to replace coffee & soda, probiotics, detox tea, and a greens mix. It also came with a private Facebook group full of recipes that followed the guidelines of no dairy, gluten, soy, coffee, alcohol, or added sugars.

Increasing research is showing the importance of gut health and how it impacts the whole body, including mood, energy, immune system, sleep, and more. A great source I like to follow on Instagram is naturopathic doctor, @drtandacook or her blog here.

I was getting in the protein my body needed through the protein smoothies.
I was getting in the water my body needed through the clean energy drinks & teas.
I was getting in the whole foods from the recipes my support group provided me.
I was getting the proper gut health from probiotics and gut friendly foods (aka NOT processed!)

What I learned from 30 Days to Health Living
Ok – it was actually quite incredible! I was very strict with the program – not starving, not unsatisfied, actually quite the opposite because those protein smoothies were like drinking milkshakes every day! So two weeks in, I hadn’t really noticed the changes that were happening until I broke the rules one day and ate a grilled cheese sandwich. Let me tell you, that sandwich knocked me out! I could not keep my eyes open! That was the turning point in my health journey.

I had gone two weeks without dairy, gluten, soy, coffee, alcohol, or added sugars. No sugar loaded lattes, no sodas. I was drinking the protein shakes twice a day, the energy fizz sticks, the greens, and the detox tea. My body was getting a rest, a reset, and proper fuel with the meals I was making from the recipes in the Facebook group. My gut was happy. My mood was good, my energy was back!

It goes without saying that I completed the 30 days leading up to our wedding, felt amazing, looked amazing, and was 100% ordering more!

My life before these products was 5 years ago now! My husband and I have literally been using them daily the entire time. We even make mini protein smoothies for our picky eater toddler as a way to get fried eggs & veggies into his little body!
